Hand-carved aromatherapy censer by Aldís Bára Einarsdóttir, one of Iceland's most skilled potters, and Davíð Georg Gunnarsson, an architect. The set includes an aromatherapy censer with specially selected lava rock and scents designed by Fischersund.
The idea for the Ilmker was sparked during a beach trip in Akranes where Aldís, along with her owner and son,
found a urchin vase that she took home with her. Davíð, who recently graduated as an architect from the Royal Danish Academy of Architecture, had an idea and asked Aldís to make it for her. From their collaboration and the inspiration of the urchin vase, this beautiful perfume vase was created, which was then completed with lava rocks brought out to Reykjanes. The frame making then led Aldís and Davíð's paths together at Fischersund and a unique product was created. There are two residential fragrances from Fischersund and they draw their inspiration from the extremes of light in Iceland. One is bright and light like the summer light that never fades, the other is dark and warm like the short days that envelop us in winter.

Hand-turned oil burner Ilmker by Aldís Bára Einarsdóttir, one of Iceland's most accomplished potters with architect Davíð Georg Gunnarsson. The kit contains an oil burner, a specially selected piece of lava, and a home scent designed by Fichersund.
The idea for Ilmker came about during a trip to the beach in Akranes, where Aldís was with her
husband and son, found an urchin which she took home with her. Davíð, who recently graduated as an architect from the Royal Danish School of Architecture, had an idea and asked Aldís if she could throw clay to make his vision come to life.
From their collaboration and inspiration from the urchin, this beautiful Ilmker was created, which was then perfected with a beautiful piece of lava collected at the Reykjanes peninsula. Through collaboration with Rammagerðin Aldís and Davíð connected with the scent designers at Fischersund and created a truly one-of-a-kind product. The two home scents by Fischersund are inspired by the stark and dramatic contrast between seasonal brightness in Iceland. One is bright and light like the summer sun that never disappears, the other is dark and warm like the darkness that envelops Iceland during winter.
