"Morra emphasizes sophisticated garments and accessories made from high-quality, natural materials. I work a lot with prints that often evoke Icelandic nature and culture."
Special characteristics of Icelandic design:
"It is perhaps unique in that the history of design and production in Iceland is shorter and more fragmented than, for example, our neighboring countries. It is thus built with a certain freedom, free from preconceived ideas or long traditions. It is evident in how many different things are going on. Many designers here look to the environment and nature, the light, the materials or the culture rather than following international trends."
