Three gorgeous sweaters and blankets have been designed for Rammagerðin, and the project is the result of a collaboration with designers Hilda Gunnarsdóttir, Sigrún Hölla Unnarsdóttir and Aníta Hirlekar. The products were all produced in VARMA and are therefore Icelandic design and production from A-Ö. The purpose of the project was to get Icelandic designers to approach Icelandic fleece in a new way in the Glófi factory that Rammagerðin acquired this year, where the garments and blankets are machine-knitted from Icelandic yarn from Ístex. The products are intended to appeal to art lovers who want to support Icelandic design.
