Rainbow street in Reykjavík- A Fresh New Space for Icelandic Design

Reykjavík's cultural scene was buzzing on 5th of March as the city's creative crowd gathered for the grand opening of Rammagerðin on Skólavörðustígur.

We unveiled a newly renovated retail and exhibition space on the ground floor of Skólavörðustígur 12/Rainbow Street. The atmosphere was electric, with guests enjoying specially crafted Rammagerðin cocktails and live sounds from DJ Komma.

One of the evening's highlights was a showcase by Bjarni Viðar, one of Iceland's most sought-after ceramicists, whose work has gained remarkable popularity in recent years.

Guests were also invited to explore the latest scents from Icelandic fragrance house Ilmur & Sjór, straight from their own workshop.

You have a chance to smell new unreleased fragrances by Ilmur & Sjór and discover the many small oils that the artist uses to create his unique scents.

But that is not all — we carry some of Iceland's most iconic and beloved brands including Blue Lagoon, Fischersund, BL, Hvammsvík, Feldur, Varma and Dr. Bragi, all under one roof.
