The Christmas Cat 2023

Rammagerðin's Christmas cat is a unique design project. This year, this project was repeated for the fourth time. Rammagerðin hires a different designer to design and produce a Christmas cat each year, and this year it was Björn Steinar Blumenstein who was given the task. It can be challenging to have the idea in mind since February to design and produce a Christmas cat, speaking of Christmas stress.

We are extremely pleased with this year's Christmas cat, which is made from sand-cast aluminum in collaboration with Hella Málmsteypan. Only 25 copies of the Christmas cat are being produced this year, making it ideal for those who want to own a unique design product to secure a copy.

Each cat is numbered and will be sold in the order they are sold, unless you have a lucky number between 1-25, then you never know unless your number is available.

The Christmas cat is only available in our store at Skólavörðustígur 12. The Christmas cat also adorns window displays in one of the windows in the store.
