Á Milli Handa — A Celebration of Wool at Rammagerðin this DesignMarch

This May, Rammagerðin is proud to host Á Milli Handa, a multidisciplinary exhibition bringing together designers and artists from diverse backgrounds to explore the relationship between humans and wool.

The opening takes place on Wednesday, 6 May from 16:00 to 19:00, with the exhibition continuing from 7 May to 10 May, open every day from 10:00 to 20:00, at Rammagerðin, Laugavegur 31, Reykjavík.

Icelandic wool has been at the heart of Icelandic life for over 1,000 years. Its qualities are familiar to anyone who has worked with it — warm, resilient, and deeply connected to the land and its people. Á Milli Handa takes this ancient material and looks at it through fresh eyes, presenting ideas about its remarkable versatility and the importance of preserving and developing wool production in Iceland for generations to come.

Whether you are a lover of craft, design, or Icelandic heritage, this is an event not to be missed. We look forward to seeing you there.
